DOKOUN ADEC (Overdraft Protection Insurance) is a protection solution designed to secure the repayment of your overdraft in the event of death or total and permanent disability.

Born from the partnership between BANGE BANK BENIN and SANLAM Assurance Vie Benin, this product is part of the bancassurance range, and is aimed at current account holders who wish to benefit from an overdraft facility with a defined amount and duration. Its true added value lies in the protection it offers: in the event of death or disability, the insured’s beneficiaries are fully released from any repayment obligation.

Eligibility conditions
  • Duration: 1 year.
  • Place of subscription: with your account manager at the bank.
  • Formalities: no medical examination required.
  • Premium: annual, payable at subscription.
Benefits paid in the event of death
  • Annual payment of the insured capital until the end of the remaining period.
  • In the event of a claim (death or total and permanent disability), the insurer reimburses the bank according to the option chosen by the client, an amount equal to the overdraft balance recorded on the day of the claim.
The two guarantees offered
  • SECURITY: repayment of the overdraft at the date of the claim, up to FCFA 500,000.
  • ADEC COMFORT: repayment of the subscribed amount, up to FCFA 1,000,000.
